Handpainted wooden heart measuring 12cm x 12cm.
 
The background is ochre and it has flower and butterfly doodles. All colours have been added with acrylic paint, and the doodles with black fine liners.
I added wax paste in places for a distressed shabby chic look.
This heart has been varnished several times with a clear satin acrylic varnish.
