This handpainted wooden slice makes a unique Happy Mother's Day gift.
The wooden slice is about 9.5cm wide x 9cm high.
 
It has a light blue colour background and I painted some forget-me-not and pink daisies using acrylic paint. The writing is painted in black with gold highlight.
I also added some gold wax paste in places for a lightly distressed look.
It has been varnished several times over with a clear acrylic varnish.
