Handpainted wooden heart measuring 12cm x 12cm.
 
It has  a cream background and I painted a Painted Lady butterfly using acrylic paint.
I also added wax paste in places for a lightly distressed look.
This heart has been varnished several times with a clear satin acrylic varnish.
